strong posrrioNs carried. INCREASING RESISTANCE. ENEMY USES NEW BATTERIES. The High Commissioner reports, under date of London, June 29th, C.25 pjn.: An Italian report says: "Between the Adige and the llrenta'the Italians yesterday continued to advance, notwithstanding the increasing resistance of the enemy as they reached their previously prepared positions. "At Val Arsa our Alpine troops stormed Fort Mattassonea, a detachment of the infantry carrying the ridge of Mount Tropoli. "Along the Posina line the advance has been delayed by the enemy bringing up heavy batteries from Borcola, but we chased the enemy from the rocks and reached Griso, carrying tho strong position of Bctta, on Mount Majo."
