ITALY AND SOLIDARITY.

WEW PREMIER'S WATCHWORD. WEIX RECEIVED. ROME, June 29. In a statement to the Italian Chamber of Deputies, the new Italian Premier, Signor Boselli, emphasised the close solidarity or the Allies and the coordination of military operations. The statement has met with an excellent reception throughout the country. Mr. John H. Pagni, Consular Agent for Italy in this city, has supplied the following particulars regarding the new Prime Minister of Italy. Signor Boselli is looked upon as the most remarkable personality among the members appointed in the new Italian Ministry. Signor Boselli's birthplace is Turin, and he is 76 years of age, being looked upon as the honoured "Father of the House" iv the Italian Parliament. He has been,| like Signor Marcora, the present Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, a Garibaldian, and fought in the War of Liberation. His powerful and most eloquent oration made in the Chamber on the declaration of war to Austria was so moving in its grandeur of diction and magnificence of appeal that it aroused the Chamber to a pitch of enthusiasm never before witnessed in the Italian Parliament; and it was resolved, on the demand of all parties in the House (Socialists included) that the speech should immediately be published throughout all districts of the Italian kingdom. At that time Signor Boselli wa3 president of the commission of the Parliament which considered the declaration of waT to Austria; but although he is such a staunch nationalist and patriot, it was thought doubtful at that tjme whether he would accept the Premiership, as he is so old, although of a vigorous constitution. He is certainly the most universally beloved politician in Italy, and where he is well known, he enjoys great popularity. The Ministry, Mr. Pagni says, is thoroughly national, and it practically .represents all the parties of the Chamber of Deputies, ranging from the Conservative (Baron Sonnino) to the Socialist (Signor Bissolati), and probably including also a Republican (Signor Barzilai).
