A HERO OF GALLIPOLI.
DEATH OF CAPTAIN MORTON. FINDING OF INQUIRY COURT. I Included in a short casualty list of ■three names, issued by the Defence Department last night, was the name of Captain Alfred B. Morton, of Auckland, who has been missing . since 3rd May of last year. CAPTAIN A. B. MORTON, Headquarters Staff, Infantry Brigade, previously reported missing; now reported by Court of Inquiry to have died of wounds sustained in action. TROOPER R. WILSON, Otago Mounted Rifles, died of peritonitis, First Australian Stationary Hospital, Ismailia. [RIFLEMAN S. J. MOORE, ~S.Z. Rifle Brigade, lost overboard from N.Z. transport en route to Albany.
