IN MANIFESTO FORM. SHE STILL LOVES PEACE. (Received 1.30 p.m.) PARIS, August 11. The intellectuals and professors in Germany have issued a "kultur" manifesto declaring that peace-loving Germany only rose up when the barbarians on the east and powerful and envious enemies on the threatened to annihilate her. She rioes not want to dominate the world, but demands the possibility of extending her culture and commercial power. She must remove the French menace by exacting a large indemnity, imifit hold Belgium, and conquer the Channel Coast, thus protecting herself against Great Britain. SOBERING UP. (Received 1.5 p.m.) AMSTERDAM, August 11. I.issauer's "Song of Hate" is losing favour. The "Tagehlatf quotes with approval from the "Krx"lniaohe Volkszeitunp" a clergyman's letter deploring the song, and urging its removal from children"s books.
