CHEAP RAILWAY EXCURSIONS.
(To the Editor.) Sir. —I would respectfully call your attention to the hardships that w e Takapuna people suffer in the matter oi cheap excursions out of Auckland. Her? we arc. about :1.000 inhabitants, deprived of the enjoyment of these trips by the unearthly time they leave Auckland. Take such trips as Te Aroha, Paeroo, and Nganiawahia. We at Takapuna could not reach Auckland to catch a train before 7.25. I hope th e Railways Manager's attention will be called to this matter, and so give us a show to enjoy these cheap trips, and so spend our money and increase the railway revenue. —I am. etc..
