•To tbe Editor.) Sir, —Allow nip to add my views re this matter. I have lived here some years, and cannot recall one instance when the Department have moved spontaneously an improving the poor service to this suburb. We are only 4 miles from Papatoetoe. and 1 see no difficulty in a train covering this distance in the same time to Manurewa as it now takes to Papatoetoe by cutting down th c stops by 50 per cent.—l am. etc.. MANUREWA.
