NORTH SHORE ELECTIONS.
Amongut the candidates for the Rrrkenhead Council. Messrs. C. E. Campbell, Oolin Masom. Root. Webb, and R. Shepherd, who are members, of the present Council, aire seeking ire-election, whilp the itww candidates include Messrs. Hrank .1. .Stewart (llirkdale), Albert Hadfield. W. Samson. T. (iordon Tiraa-d. .1. R. Salt. Messrs. A. Bartlett. J. P. McPhail, and T. Church, also memlx-js of .the present Council, a.ro contesting the mayoralty, while the remaining two mVmbere, Messrs. !•'. Finch and K. M. King, are not seeking (re-election, nor is tlie present Mayor (Mr. Wm. Wallace). Amuming that all the old councillors standing are returned, the new (launch" will even then consist of five new members. For NoTthcote, Mr. Geo. Fraser is again standing as Mayor. With the exception of Mr. T. S. Wallace, i.t is understood that the whole of the members of the Council are seeking ire-election. The new candidates will include Messrs. U. A. Giay, Wellings, A. W. Tyer, A. W. .Millar, and Richards.
