MAN SWIMvS ASHORE. (By Telegraph.-Press Association.) DAK/1 AVILIJE. this day. On Monday night the launch Huia was passing Tokatoka. with a man named Contts aboard when flames buret out in the engine room, followed by a:i explosion. Coutts was burned about the head, legs, and hands. He jumped overboard, and swam to th«. shore. The launch, worth about £200. is a total wreck.
