A BRILLIANTLY EXECUTED ENTERPRISE.
HOW THE BRITISH CAPTURED LEPINETTE.
THE LOSS AND RECAPTURE OF ST. ELOI.
(Received 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, March 16. Sir John French's bulletin states that the capture of Lepinette was the result of a brilliantly executed enterprise, advancing our line 300 yards on a front of 1,300 yards. The enemy on the evening of the 14th. after a heavy bombardment and mine explosion, rushed some of our trenches south of Saint Eloi, but we recaptured them next morning. The Hying Corps has had further successes, a train at the Don station being blown up on Saturday.
