ATTACK ON THE DARDANELLES.
BRITISH MINE-SWEEPER BLOWN UP.
AMETHYST REACHES THE NARROWS OF NAGARA.
(Received 2.45 p.m.) ATHENS, March 16. A British trawler while engaged in mine-sweeping in the Dardanelles was blown up. British vessels silenced several mobile Turkish batteries above Kuin Kale fort. The Amethyst braved the mine area and advanced to Nagara. Three shells struck her, inflicting some damage.
