POSTAL PACKET DELIVERY.

The Council of the Auckland Chamher of Commerce recently drew the attention of the Postmaster-Genera! to the fact that tho regulations affecting the delivery of packages to holders of postal boxes urgently needled amendment. It was pointed' out that while lessees of postal boxes paid up bo three guineas a yc.tr. they- were a* the dioadvantatge of not having delivered any parcels sent by post which were t<po large to go in the box until 36 hours la-tyr.
