NATIONAL INSURANCE.
WHAT THE DOCTORS EARN. (Received 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, February 7. Presiding at a dinner tendered by a number of medical men in honour of Dr. C. Addison, Liberal member for Hoxton, Mr. Lloyd George stated that 20,000 out of 22,500 doctors in Britain were on the National Insurance panel. The 20.000, however, included duplicates serving on more than one panel. The Government has distributed to them four and a-half millions, averaging £230 a piece. The average in London was £330, Birmingham £350.. Manchester £295, Liverpool £370, and Durham £230.
