PROBLEM OF THE UNFIT.
SHOULD THEY BE LEFT TO DIE? (Received 8.25 a.m.) LONDON, February 8. At the annual dinner of the Institute of Sanitary Engineers, Sir William Ramsay raised the question as to whether the physically unfit should be left to die. He asked whether it was right that these people should be coddled as they were, and whether, instead of doing so much to prolong the lives of the unfit, it would not be better to let some of them die out.
