V.M.C.A. CONCERT.
The whole of the seating accommodation at the Y.M.C-A. concert chamber was occupied last night, when the Boys' Division ot that institution gave a concert In aid of the boys' Christmas camp. A most enjoyable programme was presented, and the heartiness with which the juniors entered into the choruses and refrains suggested that their hearts were in the work. The chairman of the Boys' Division (Mr. H. G. Fountain) occupied the chair, and associated with him was the organiser of the Bo.vs' Division (Mr G. W. Adair). During an interval certificates were presented by Mr. A. Jameson to Masters J. Allison and A. Walker iv recognition of their pluck In rescuing a fellow-member from drowning. The following was the programme:.—Opening chorus Song," company; pianoforte solo' "Norwegian Cradle Song," Master C. Howley; song, "Till the Sands of the Desert Grow Cold," Mr. Ken Dellow; recitation. "The Twins," Mr. Sid Exley; song, with chorus, "Skedaddling," Master XV, Douglas and members; humorous sketch, selected. Mr. A. J. Bland (encored); song, "Songs of Araby." Mr. T. Watson; song, with chorus - Master A. Elliffe and members; violin solo, "Hjere Kati," Master Henri Lissaek (encored); song, selected. Miss Hanneken; song, "Captain Baby Bunting," Master A. Coutts: recitation, "Room Enongh for AIL" Master B. Townsend: song. "Bedouin Love 1 Song." Mr. T. Watson; recitation.- "The , Island of Endless Play." Master Graham Bell; song, "The Hymns of the Old Ct irch Choir," Master C. Howley; song, "I Want to he in Dixie,"'Masters--Douglas-. Elliffe, '. and Howley..
