SINGULAR FATALITY.
DEATH OF A MINER.

REEFTOX, this day.
An extraordinary fatality occurred yesterday, late in the afternoon. A miner named Coon, working in the Keen-It-IVark mine, was injured through a fall of stone.
First aid was rendered by John McLean, jun., a timbernian at the surface, who shortly after reeled ajid fell. McLean was taken home, and he died last night. Deceased belongs to an old and respected Reefton family. Coon is doing well.
Another miner named Miller had a lee crushed at the Energetic Mine. °
