V.R.C.'s 'WAITING GAME. (Received 9.15 a.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. At the annual meeting of the Victorian Racing Club the chairman stated that it had been thought wise, in the interests of racing, to appoint stipcudiary stewards. He had every confidence in the men selected. The committee was as much in fj.vour of the totalisator as ever, but was waiting developments. If the. bill was passed in Sydney, the committee would seriously consider what should be done in Victoria.
