TRANSATLANTIC FLIGHT.
DELAYED BY AN ACCIDENT. THE GAS ESCAPES. '(Received 10.20 a.m.) LAS PALMAS, April 17. The German airship Suchard 11. was brought here recently to commence a flight across the Atlantic to the West Indies, relying on the trade winds. A start was to have been made to-day, but just as the final preparations were being made the gas in the envelope completely escaped, and the attempt had to be postponed.
