TRANSPORT WORKERS.
PROPOSED DOMINION FEDERATION. (By Telegraph.-Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, "Monday, __ The conference of the New Zealand Federation of Drivers instructed the Drivers' Federation executive to convene a conference of representatives of all organisations engaged in transport work prepared to initiate a transport workers' department or federation. The conference is to be held in Wellington on Saturday, June 28, this date being fixed to* enable representatives of transport workers' organisations to discuss the proposition prior to the meeting of the Unity Congress. A uniform set of rules to apply to aU unions affiliated to the Drivers* Federation was adopted.
