By eight votes to sis the conference of the New Zealand Federation of Drivers passed a vote of censure upon the workers* representative on the Arbitration Court (Mr. J. A. McCvllough) for his failure to register publicly an emphatic protest against the action of the Court in inflicting upon drivers the necessity under the award of working eight, hours per week on necessary attendance upon horses for nothing. Tlie conference decided to recommend members of affiliated unions to refuse to work with non-unionists, and to purchase goods only from those firms which employ unionists in the manufacture and distribution of their goods.
