Bootle and Day Fly sprinted five furlongs in 1.3, Obllgaiit alone going on a furlong further in 1.10 i-r>. Imagination finished better than Sir 'Solo over a mile,*which was left behind'in 1.45. Haskayne ran the last seven of eight furlongs in 1.34 2-5, but finished badly, and the gallop was unattractive. Bronze and Bertrada spurted half a mile in 50 2-ss. Cheddar ran one of tho best gaHops of the morning, getting to tbe end of six furlongs m 1.16. The son of Mcrriwee is very well. His stable, companion, Ventura, spurted four furlongs In 40s. Mowbray and Osier sprinted five furlongs in 1.2 2-5, Rinaldo taking 1.7 2-5 to cover tiie same journey. Lockwood covered four furlongs in 4J 3-js. Salzburg easily covered six furlongs iii 1.21, a distance which Awahou and Gerbera left behind In 1.17 2-D, Suratnra ooing a furlong less In 1.3 2-5.
