DOCKYARD DISMISSALS.
SYDNEY, this day.
At a minute's notice 200 men were dismissed from the Government dockyards at Cockatoo Island, which are being taken over to-day by the Commonwealth.
It is stated that the men will shortly be reemployed at new works to be established at Newcastle by the New South Wales Government.
