HIGH RENTS AND IMMIGRATION

At the- Political Labour League's Conference feeling reference was made to the subject of the high rents prevailing. Jt was announced that this would be a burning question at the Federal State elections from the Labour standpoint.
The Hon. Mr Griffith.-, said he intended to introduce a Fair Rent Bill and establish model workers' suburbs.
A resolution was passed by the Conference in favour of the cessation of unrestricted immigration.
