DAVIS CUP CHALLENGES.
FRANCE ENTERS A TRAM.
SYDNEY, March 5.
A challenge for the Davis Cup was received from France, and the draw was made to-day as follows:—England v. France, America a bye. Tbe winners of the England-France match will meet America, and the winners of the second heat will meet Australasia in the challenge round. Tbe con mittee has decided that tbe preliminary ties must be played at such a date as to allow the challenge matches to be played in Australia during November.
