At a meeting of the committee of tho Birkenhead and Northeote Fruitgrowers' Association, held last week it was resolved to hold, the »ext annual show at Takapuna on February 10. It is considered that with tho inauguration of the tram service Takapuna will bo moro accessible for tho public, and tho district lends itself 'to outside events which will be added to tho programme for 1012. A number of Takapuna residents have promised their support to tho nhow, and with the co-operation of Northeote, T!irkenhead, and surrounding districts it is anticipated that the event will prove ev-jii a greater success than tho shows previously held at Northeote. iltendell's, Ltd., removal sale, 2nd day to-morrow.
