MAWSON'S MONOPLANE.
ITS USE IN THE FTNAX SASH. (Received 8.10 a.m.) LONDON. August 13. "llie monoplane constructed for Dr Douglas Mawson's Antarctic expedition has been tested. Mr. Watson, the aviator, believes that it will remain in the air for five hours with a passenger, and will be able to cover 250 miles and return in the final dash for the Pole.
