*n old resident of Te Aroha, commonly known as "BilP Gooding, was found dead in his whare m yesterday morning. Dr" D -Vxford pronounced the case to be an attack of apoplexy. Mrs. Comes was unconscious till death ensued at 4 pjn. the same day. Deceased arrived in New ! Zealand sixty-four years ago. Her remains were interred this (Wednesday) I morning in the cemetery of Te Aroha.
