A BOY DROWNED.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TAIHAPE, this day. A four-year-old son of Mr. David McKay, farmer, residing near 31-ataroa, was missed at 3 p.m. yesterday. Search was made and continued through the n!ght. The boy's body was found this morning in a swollen creek. It lis supposed that the child Had attempted to cross on a plank and fell in, and that the body had been carried down the creek half-a-mile.
