(To ihe Editor.) Sir.—The Rev. A. U. Lawry, in his interesting remarks r e Methodist Union, published in the "Star" this evening, is very far out in his figures as to the relative strength of the two churches interested. Ha gives the figures for the Primitive Methodist Church as approximately 10.000, whereas at the census of 1906, 21,796 returned themselves as Primitive Me.thodisLs, and 63,603 as belonging to the Methodist Church of Australasia.—l am, etc., JOHN OLPHERT.
