(To the Editor.) -Sir, —In your issue of Thursday last, at the meeting of fthe Parnell "Borough Council, for tie purpose of arranging a Coronation celebration, I am reported to have advocated an ambulance station for Parnell. What I did say was to suggest the children might contribute to the building of the St. -Tohn Ambulance Station in Auckland, where, in later years, they would be glad to attend firstaid classes of the Society, anil OIPI that they had honoured King Geor<re by helping to erect a memo-rial building for the work of the St. John Ambulance Association, of which he is Soveneign head and patron. —I am, etc.. 1..
