CLUB'S CHARTER CANCELLED.

CABESHET DECLINES TO INTERFERE (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. It is understood that consequent on the result of the recent inquiry into the conduct and management of the Sydenham Working Men's Club, and after due consideration by Ministers of the statements made on behalf of the club in rebuttal of the findings of the Commissioner, Cabinet has been unable to see its way to reverse the decision it previously arrived at to cancel the club's charter.
