WELCLIXGTON BEATS CHRISTOgCBCH. (By Association.) WELLINGTON, Wednesday. A team of players from the Christehurch Clnb contested the Tuson Cup with the Wellington Club representatives at the Haeretunga links to-day. In the match for the Tnson Cup. for which only singles counted, Wellington won by six games to two. The details are as follows, the Wellington names being given first:— A. Duncan beat B. B. Wood, four up and three to play. A. J. Abbott beat B. C. RutherfOTd, two up and one to play. J. B. MaeEwan lost to J. G-ow, one down. W. E. Reid beat V. Harman, two up and one to play. L. C. Hales beat W. Sleigh, two up and one to play.

G. Didsbnry beat P. Trolove, three up and two to p-lay. E. S. Pearce lost to A. Borthwick, four up and three to play. •Four-ball fonrsomes were played in the morning, with the following result:—
