PACKING OF WOOL
(Received 5.55 a.m.) LONDON, August 28. The Vegetable Fibre in Wool Committee report that the larger growers in Victoria. New Zealand, arid South Africa have responded to their representation, but little response is noted from New South Wales, South Australia, aud Westralia to the request to pack properly, though the consumers show increasing preference where clips are packed according to the recommendation. The French Association of Spinners has inaugurated a conference at Roubaix in 1011 to consider the matter. London warehouses have improved their methods of dealiuc with loose fibre.
