CABEIAGE FLTJNG ACROSS PLATFORM. jWENTY PEOPLE INJURED. (Received 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, January 30. The Brighton-London express, when travelling at 40 miles an hour, broke a coupling. The rear portion ran for some distance before it left the metals, and then a carriage was flung across the platform at jCroydon station. Twenty passengers -were injured.
