DEVELOPMENT BILL
AMTrrrpaCESTS BY tk>; LORDS. (Received 5.5 ajn.) LONDON, October 22. The House of Lords has passed the Development Bill through committee. Amendments were made to secure parliamentary instead of bureaucratic control, and to delete the ail-embracing phrase allow money to be spent for any economical development.
