AUCKLAND BOWLING ASSOCIATION. CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS TOURNAMENT. Notwithstanding the heavy rain of Friday night, and tile consequent deadening of the green, play was started at half-past nine on Saturday, on the Mt. Eden green in the champion of champions' match, under the auspices of the Auckland Bowling Association, all the competitors making a start, except the Mt. Eden and Mt. Albert representatives. The green, though on the heavy, side, played wonderfully sweet during the mornIng, considering the adverse circumstances, and with Mr B. J. Esam in charge, the various rounds In the four sectlong were got, off well up to time. SECTION A. FIRST ROUND. Chappel (Hamilton), 21, beat White (Rocky Nook), 18.
