CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES. The various competitions in the Aucklaud Hockey Association championship iuarcb.es were continued at Bemuera, the Domain and North Shore this afierhoon. The weather and slushy underfoot condl--tious militated against anything in the nature of nice play, the games being a succession cf wet and mudSy scrambles, the teams haying the better balancing qualities pulliug off the houours. SENIOR MATCHES. Of the senior matches two were played on the Remuera ground, Ponsonby and I.M-C.A. making "a tie of it with three goals each. For the winners Barry hit two goals and Porter one. GRAFTON V. UNIVERSITY. This was a splendid game, and resulted in a thoroughly well-deserved victory for Grnfton by 3 goals to 1 goal. Grafton had the best of the gtnne throughout. They started off at a great pace, and scoped within three minutes, and very soon after that Grafton again scored. The third goal was made shortly after the beginning of the second spell. Considering the wet and greasy nature of the ground the combination was excellent, and very little whistle was required- Prime (2) and Whyman scored for Grafton, and Jacobsen for University. Mr. A.
