- 7 * " '' -" The forty-finst week of the second competition, promoted by the North Island Esslaylngf Competition Limltedy at Cambridge, was concluded on Friday last, 26th Febrnary, 1909. The following partlcnlars are supplied by Mr A B. Trythall. secretary to the competition. The number of eggs laid during the week was 1285, being an average of 19.46 eggs per pen.
