PRESS CONFERENCE.
GAMBLING COMPETITIONS. LONDON, February 27. The delegates to the Imperial Press Conference will be lodged at the Waldorf Hotel. Mr. Herbert Gladstone, Home Secretary, promised a deputation of proprietors and editors that the Government would legislate upon the question of gambling competitions in newspapers.
