IMPERIAL CABLES.
A CANADIAN PROJECT. 3HEAP BATES PROPOSED. (Received S.lo a.m.) LONDON. November 10. Hr. R. Lemieux, Canadian PostmasterGeneral, who i- visiting England, will discuss with the Imperial Government the I construftion of a" Atlantic cable at the joint expense of Britain and Canada. It is proposed that the ordinary commercial rate be five cents a word, and the Press rate a penny a word.
