BRITISH ARMY AEROPLANE.
WRECKED BY A -FALL. (Received 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, October 16. The British Army aeroplane, while undergoing trials at Aldershot, fell from a height of 20 feet and was wrecked. Colonel Cody, its inventer and passenger, was thrown out, but escaped unhurt. Mr. Cody, who has been at work on his aeroplane a.% Farnborough for about a ye_jr, is a daring aeronaut. He was confident of the success of his machine,, and declared that it would fly higher and to a greater distance than ever attempted by any other machine.
