WAIKATO STOCK SALES. The Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company, Ltd.. report as follows:— CAMBRIDGE SALE. At Cambridge on Friday last we yarded 450 hesid of cattle, 250 sheep, aud S3 pigs. There was r. good attendance, and a good inquiry for beef and stores. Seventy head of beef sold readily. We quote:—Fat steers, £8 to £8 10/: lighter weights,d£7 to £7 10/; heavy fat cows. £6 10/ to £7 15/: others, £5 8/ to £5 IT/G; 3 and 3* year steers. £5 12/6 to £ti ol; 2 aud 2J year steers, £3 14/ to £4 11/: IS-months heifers, £2 3/ to £2 12/6: yearling steers, £2 7/0; calves, mixed sexes. 23/ to 35/; younger 6orts. 13/ to 15/; fresh empty cows, £3 5/; springing cows, up to £5 10/; heifers, £6; f:it and forward hoggets, 10/3 to 11/: cull ewes, in lamb, ill; sons, £2 10/ to £5 10/; slips, 18/ to 30/; weaners, _y to 10/. At Hamilton Borough yards ou 13th inst. , we yarded 50 fat cattle, 500 store cattle, and 072 sheep. None of tho fat cattle were heavy-weights and some not too well fiuish- , cd. We quote:—Fat steers, £7 15/ to £S 10/; fat cows and helfors. £4 5/ to £4 15/; backward springers, £3 15/ to £4 10/; more forward sorts, up to £5 -10/; store • cows aud heifers, £2 7/ to £3 5/; good - , calves and yearlings. £2 5/; fresh steers, off f t-uruips. £5 15/. With the exception of 51 wethers, -all tho sheep were sold.
