■ ■ I NORTHERN WAIEOA V. WAIUKU. Northern Wairoa and Wainku ployed a return match on the Wainku Domain on Saturday. In the first spell the home team had tho best of tho game, the score at halftime being: Waiuku, 9; Northern Wairoa. 0. In the second spell, Waiuku again quickly scored, after which the visitors rallied, anil secured 'two tries, while Stallworthy also kicked a goal from a penalty kick, and the jiame resulted: Waiuku, 14 points; Northern Wairoa 9. For Wairoa S. Wilson (2). .1. Bennett, and W. Craig scored tries, one of which was converted by S. Wilson. For the visitors Andrews and Cox each secured a try. Mr Harry Hockin gave satisfaction as referee. The following team has been chosen to represent Wainku against the Auckland junior representatives at Auckland on the 20th inst.:— Backs: L. Barriba.ll, V. Barriball. J. Bennett. J. Herrold, S. Wilson, and S. Bright. Forwards: A. James. J. Atkinson. H. Wilson. G. Bright C. Brockliss. A. Potter, W. Craig P. Hunfling. and G. Middleton. Emergencies: E. Holmes and J. Cox. FRANKLIN R C. The Tuakau senior football team defeated Clevedon on Saturday by eight points to six. Tuakau thus wins the senior competition for the year uuder the Franklin Union, fixtures. WAIKATO RUGBT UNION. The Cambridge city seniors defeated the Ohaupo team, and has now won the senior championship of the Waikato. Rugby Union for 1203.
