(LONDON, June 5. " Tommy " Burns has signec an agreement with Mr. Hugh D. Mcintosh, of Sydney, engaging to fight " Bill" Lang in Sydney on or after August 13, and to fight elsewhere in Australia such opponents as Mr. Mcintosh selects. It is understood that Burns is also willing to fight '•' Bill" Squires in Sydney. Burns sails for Australia per the P. and O. liner Mongolia.

" WILL NOT FIGHT BLACKS."

SYDNEY, June 6. Since the acceptance by the Sydney I syndicate of Burns' terms for a fight £j this city during the visit of the A.-^ er j_ can fleet, several cablegrams passed. Naturally, the have liked to arrange^fej>*' i su r ij S an( i Johnson to meet, pfJEwithstanding the almost pro.lyjßitave price fixed by Burns, for the engagement. Up till yesterday afternoon therejwas some doubt, but this was ended •by the receipt of.a final cable from Burns: " Will no£ fight blacks." Whatever his reason may be, Burns is emphatic in his decision, and he will, therefore, be confronted by either Marvin Hart or "Twin" Sullivan, since there seems but small chance of Jack O'Brien facing the battle by having so far shown . no inclination to accept cabled offers from the syndicate.
