MACEDONIAN REFORM.
Tlie Diplomatic Game. (Received 8.40 a.m.) LONDON, April 2. An effort is progressing to amalgamate the Russian and British Macedonian schemes in order to thwart the German and Austrian attempt to separate Great Britain and Eussia on the question. [The above message needs reconciliation to the statement cabled a few days ago that Austria had accepted Sir Edward Grey's scheme, which includes the appointment of an international Governor. At present efforts to reform Macedonia are proceeding from three quarters —the general " concert" which has policed the country on the basis of spheres of control, the Austro-Russian scheme and the Dew scheme outlined by Sir Edward Grey.]
