BANDS IN THE PARK.

CTo the Editor.) Sir, —Having read the letter by one who signs himself "\k believer in a quiet, Sunday," I think, judging from the large number of people who attend the band on Sundays and Wednesday evening, that fortunately there are few ■who have so little taste for good music My family and self go almost every opportunity and, have spent many a pleasant hour listening to the music and enjoying the fresh air and pretty grounds. It rests with the parents whether the younger members of the family should'attend, the Sunday School or the band; personally I think there are few of the young children to be seen in the Park as they could not understand the class of music which is being provided to a large extent by the liberality of our present mS.yor, Mr. Myers, and the kind co-operation of the bands.—l am, etc., A P.AKENT.
