A MILITARY BAND.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —I am glad to see that someone has at last taken the first step towards raising a military band. Unless it is a private affair, might I suggest that " llilitaire " should let the public know, through the " Star," how he gets on, and ■wh.eth.er subscriptions would foe acceptable?—l anjj etc.j HAU^BOIS.
