CRICKET.
The first annual, meeting of the Jewellers' Cricket team was held in the City Club .Hotel on, Friday ; evening last. There was a fair attendance of members.' Mr D. L. Gold water presided. The report of. the last season .showed the club to be in ii sound financial position." ' The officers' for the ensuing year are as follow:—President, Mr A. M. Myers; vicepresidents, Messrs Kirkman, W. Denison, Walsh, J. Buchanan, R. Speight, A. Beaver, H: Fordo, A. Kohn; treasurer ' and ■ secretary, Mr D. L. .Goldwater; management committee, Messrs I. Holden," F. Hedlund, W. Keys; treasurer and captain, ex-oflicio; auditors, Messrs A. Hole and Hedlund; captain, F. Hedlund; Mr Schuleman; selection committee, Captain, and Messrs J. Holden, W. Keys; delegates to Auckland Cricket League, Messrs D. L. Goldwater and Fearn. Several trophies were donated to the club for batting and bowling for the season. . . .
