SCAFFOLDING ACCIDENT.
SEVERAL MEN INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Esi V KKC ARGILL. Stmday. A sensation was caused in town about noon yesterday by the news that a scaffolding on the -wall of a new brick ■bniidiag. where some men were working, iad collapsed. Subsequently it was diseorered that the woodwork of the scaffolding had given way and brought down a quantity of newly-laid brickwork. ■fThre'e men who were working on the BcaffoMing fell about 30ft. to the ground. All were more or less badly shaken, but a man named Frederick lawton was the only one that could not make his way home unaided. He ,«2s attended to by the doctor. Five men were mixing mortar below, but all got clear except Richard Morgan and Stanley Mitchell. Morgan was pinned fes the ground by a beam, and when removed he was evidently in great pain, and -was taken to the hospital. Mitchell was not seriously hurt. It was discovered that Morgan's hip was dislocated. Jmt he is doing well.
