O'NEILL'S BUCK-JUMPERS.

Another large crowd assembled at Victoria Park last evening to witness ,the second exhibition -of buck-jumping and rough-riding presented by the CNeill family and company.. The large marquee was filled to its utmost capacity, and it may safely be said that the whole audience was more than pleased with the entertainment. The most marked enthusiasm was everywhere apparent, each of the performers receiving a well-merited round of. applause. The efforts of several local amateurs to ride the "outlaws" formed one of the most amusing features. An Crakei Maori, named Dawson, made *a splondid attempt on one of the steeds, but just failed to last out the required minute. Of the other seven equestriaas who dared the attempt,'by far the best was a dusky gentleman from Africa, whose riding al»o attracted much attention, The entertainment will be repeated this evening- On Saturday evening a valuable cup, presented by Mr Lindsay Cooke, will be competed for, all local riders beirig eligible for nomination.
