CAMBRIDGE FOOTBALL CLUB* ; The annual meeting of the Cambridge F.C. was held on Saturday evening, Mr J. Richardson presiding. The . annual report disclosed a small. debit balance. The fol-io-wing officers wert elected: —Patron, Jit H". J. Greenslade, M.H.R.; committee, Messrs B. Mullins, A. McLean, E. Anner, H. Amos,. TV. Dyer, and F. O. Thomson; secretary and treasurer,' Mr B. Mullins-, delegates to the Rugby Union, Messrs B. Mullins and E. Armer; sole selector, Mr E. SBrockelsbyv. * Twelve new members were elected. PONSONBY DISTRICT FOOTBALL CLUB. ■ The annual meeting of the Ponsonby District Football Club was Meld in. the training hall, Dignan-street, last Frid/y evening. Mr E. C. Bloinfield presided over a large number of members. The balance-sheet showed the total receipts for .the season at £130 12/9, and the expenditure (including £50 paid off the training hall) at £129 11/2, leaving a credit balance -of £1 1/2 to be carried forward. Jackson (reelected). A very hearty vote of thanks was passed to Mr Geo. Bater (the past treasurer), who did not seek re-election, and tlie outgoing committee, for the good work done by them during the season. It was decided to start training next Tuesday, 10th April, and practice the first Saturday after Easter. A very hearty vote of thanks to the chairman terminated the meeting. THAMES RUGBY UNION. (By Telegraph.—Owa Correspondent) I . THAMES, this day. Thames Rugby Union adopted the district scheme at its annual meeting. 'It is intended to play three senior teams: Suburbs, City, and County. The boundaries suggested for adoption in the district scheme of club football promises to do much to popularise football in fclie Thames district. The only objection to the scheme is the breaking up of the old associations. PAEKOA FOOTBALLERS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, this day. On Saturday evening the- West FootballClub held their annual meeting in the Pae--roa Hotel. The attendance was fair. Mr W. Nichol presided. The statement of receipts and expenditure for the year, which was read by the secretary (Mr J. Silcock), showed a small credit balance. For the ensuing year the, following officers were erected:—President, Mr-E. F. Morlarty;. the secretary and treasurer (Mr .7. SHcocfc) was re-elected; delegates to the Paeroa Rugby Union, Messrs Silcock, Gavin, and Manning; management committee,- Messrs F. ' At the annual meeting of the Otago Football Association the motion giving notice of the association's Intention to sever its connection with tho New Zealand Football Association was withdrawn. It was, however, resolved that the meeting strongly resents, the action taken by the New Zealand Football Association in withholding the money, subscribed by coupon-holders in Otago in connection with the visit of the New South Wales team, and Instructs the incoming executive not to recede from the position already taken up in regard to the coupons. A motion to rescind the district scheme was adopted. BOWLING. The following teams have been, chosen to represent' the Devonport Club in the fours championship at the Easter tournament: — E. J.
